Costs and example calculator
What makes up a monthly rate
- Depreciation. The difference between the purchase price (after any down payment) and the Restwert. You pay for the part of the car's value you use up.
- Interest. The cost of the money the leasing company advances.
- Term. A longer term spreads the cost over more months.
- Kilometerlimit. More included kilometres usually mean a lower Restwert, so a higher rate.
- Extras. Insurance, servicing and any fees in the contract are separate costs to check.
Example calculator
Example only. This is a simplified estimate with made-up inputs. It is not an offer, and real leasing companies calculate rates in their own ways and add fees.
